Welcome to Galt Airport: Photographer Steve Mark has been busy crafting a black and white photo study of Galt Airport (K10C) in northern Illinois, a classic country aerodrome with a real family atmosphere. Galt airport was the focus of Laurence Gonzales' 1992 book, One Zero Charlie, which has just been released in paperback.
“Hotshot Eastbound” is a tongue-in-cheek homage to O. Winston Link as observed by Kevin and Amada Smirz, and flown by Bill Cherwin of Lima Lima fame.
