Fly a Young Eagle for a Chance to Win a Lightspeed Headset!
By Brian O'Lena, Manager, EAA Young Eagles and Youth Pathways
In the December 2012 issue of Bits and Pieces, I asked you to consider flying or volunteering in the Young Eagles program. This month I will provide you with some extra incentive: the chance to win a Lightspeed Zulu headset. All pilots who fly Young Eagles in the United States and Canada are automatically entered to win a Lightspeed headset in our quarterly drawing, but this year we also have a special drawing just for new Young Eagles pilots in Canada. These headsets are provided by the generosity of our program supporter, Lightspeed Aviation.
To encourage more Canadian EAA pilot participation in the Young Eagles program, and fly more young people, we are holding this special exclusive drawing for first-time Young Eagles pilots. To qualify for this Canadian-only drawing, you must be a new Young Eagles pilot.
The process is easy; place an order for Young Eagles materials, conduct a flight for your first Young Eagle and send us the paperwork. No other means of entry is required - just send in the form and you're registered for the drawing. Order Young Eagles registration forms online.
Remember, all YE pilots - new and experienced - qualify for the regular quarterly Lightspeed headset drawings by submitting the YE flight registration forms during the quarter they fly a Young Eagle.
