SUMMARY
Provide systems analysis, quality assurance, technical writing services to EAA, Divisions, and Affiliates. Collaborates in the gathering, compilation and analysis of business needs as relates to the planning, design, development, and testing of corporate, Internet and Intranet information systems.
POSITION ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interfaces with business resources and management to perform detailed needs assessment, requirements gathering and analysis in order to define scope and requirements for business systems development and/or application portfolio support and maintenance projects
- Consults with business resources to identify current operating procedures and to clarify business objectives and requirements
- Develops and documents functional specifications of business systems for validation with business resources
- Develops, publishes, and implements test plans
- Develops and maintains technical/system documentation
- Performs analysis, design, and testing using Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Crystal Reports, ASP, IIS 4.0, and SQL Server 2005 in a .NET framework to ensure high quality systems that meet business objectives
- Collaborates with end users to develop operating procedure manuals and with IT Help Desk resources to develop technical support manuals
- Develops and implements quality assurance standards, including defining, tracking, and reporting of quality assurance metrics
- Performs troubleshooting, and related duties for EAA’s application portfolio
- Collaborate with business process owners to deliver user training for core business systems to ensure effective systems utilization
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. A combination of education and demonstrated experience will be considered
- Minimum of three to five years experience as a business analyst and/or quality assurance analyst
- Formal project management experience required
- Experience in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, business process modeling and related methodologies
- Experience using system development, lifecycle, and quality assurance methodologies
- Minimum of two years experience in a .NET framework utilizing a SOA environment
- Prior development experience using HTML, VBScript, ASP, and IIS preferred
- Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts
- Prior experience with Aptify 4.0 desirable
