POSITION ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides visual communication support to the business units of EAA and produces visual solutions to the communication needs of the organization. Working as a team member of the Marketing department, this position is responsible for developing and executing corporate communication in the style and spirit of the brand using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness through the following activities:
- Meeting with account managers and clients to discuss their needs.
- Interpreting the client's business needs.
- Working with account managers and copywriters, help develop design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify communications objectives.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas.
- Producing accurate and high quality work.
- Contributing ideas to the overall brief.
- Keeping abreast of developments and trends in design and design software applications.
- Working well in a team, with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account managers, website designers and other specialists.
- Working to tight deadlines in a production-driven environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- This position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant design experience in an in-house or agency environment.
- Excellent graphic and oral communication skills.
- Professional working knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to think creatively and bring concepts to life through excellent graphic execution.
- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in the visual arts.
