EAA Chapter 59 (Waco, Texas)
President Kenny Grisham shared the following insights on
aviation, diversity, and EAA chapters. Please feel free to
share Kenny's thoughts in your chapter's newsletter or
website.
"Top
10 Pilot Killers." Gene Benson has been an FAA
aviation safety counselor and flight instructor and has
more than 35 years of experience. Gene has generously
agreed to share this article with us in the hopes of
improving aviation safety. You might read it and think,
"I'd never do that," but too many pilots each
year "do that" with sometimes tragic results.
For more safety-related articles and tips, visit his
website, www.GeneBenson.com.

YOUNG EAGLES FIRST FLIGHT
LESSON
|
|
You may have heard some
information about the new offer from EAA that provides a
free flight lesson to any Young Eagle who completes part
one of the Sporty's online Complete Pilot Training Course.
The First Flight Lesson is part of an overall EAA Flight
Plan designed to help Young Eagles move from the right
seat to the left seat. Brian O'Lena, EAA Youth Programs
manager, recently held a webinar on the topic and posted a
PowerPoint presentation you can provide to your chapter.
You can watch the webinar here
and download the PowerPoint presentation here.
