Speaking With Lancair Group
Last weekend, I was in Sedona, Arizona, to represent EAA at the Lancair Owners and Builders Organization (LOBO)/Lancair fly-in. This is an enthusiastic group of builders and aviators, and LOBO is also a member of the GA Type Club Coalition, which is leading the efforts to reduce the GA accident rates and enhance safety on all levels.
Great to See EAA Members at Reno
EAA had a visible presence at the National Championship Air Races recently, including a large hospitality tent on Thursday through Sunday where we met hundreds of members each day while enjoying shade, refreshments, and plenty of airplane talk in an area specifically for EAA members. The races themselves were safe and successful in an enthusiastically received recovery from last year's tragic accident.
