Trevor Janz Oshkosh Convention Camaraderie and Food

Let's face it; we love food at any EAA gathering, and this year at our convention we had excellent food available all over the grounds. But most important, it's free food. We pilots love free food; we will fly hundreds of miles for free food. Because where there is good food, there are fellow pilots and EAAers enjoying each other's company. Read more >>

Eagle Flights Update - Chapter 105
Here is a note that we received from Eagle Flights mentor Jan Novak at Chapter 105 in Portland, Oregon. She did an "experiment" and had an Eagle Flights for Adults rally along with their Young Eagle rally. With Eagle Flights being more of a one-on-one mentorship, we have not promoted it in a rally type event. Jan describes the event and one participant who was a former Young Eagle. Read more >>

As I have been reading Sport Aviation, Experimenter, and AOPA's and COPA's magazines, I continue to see comments about the need to inject young blood into our organizations, but the fact seems to be that though this need exists, it does not seem to have become an actuality. Read more >>
