Last Minute Cancellations Make Room in Chapter Leaders Academy
February 12, 2010 –Several last-minute cancellations have created additional openings in the upcoming Chapter Leaders Academy sessions schedule later this month (Feb. 26 – 28) and March 26 – 28, 2010. The Chapter Leaders Academy is an intense weekend workshop designed to help leaders improve their chapters. Topics for discussion include member recruitment, fundraising, program ideas, public relations. Other topics are suggested by individual attendees and discussed during the weekend.
There is no charge to attend the Academy. Sessions begin on Friday evening and continue through mid-day on Sunday. Lodging and meals are included. Chapter leaders do have to provide transportation to Oshkosh. Limited travel stipends are available if transportation costs are a barrier to attend.
Feedback from attendees (and your headquarters staff) has been overwhelmingly positive.
