Chapter Web Site Program Moving Forward – "Testers" Needed
If you attended the Chapter Breakfast session on Tuesday, July 27, you heard EAA’s Hal Bryan describe the recent developments in the chapter web site program. The goal is to provide every chapter with a presence on the web – free of charge – by the end of this year.
The web sites, powered by Webs.com, will be available to all chapters and will empower you to customize the site as you wish. We will provide templates and tools to help you design a site that matches your chapter’s needs. Even if your chapter decides not to customize your site, it will still provide basic chapter contact and meeting information so members and potential members can find you. For chapters with an existing site they wish to keep, we can re-direct visitors to your current site.
We are ready to take the next step in the development process of the web site program and are seeking chapter volunteers to help create and customize a web site. In addition, we will be seeking your feedback about the service and potential features you feel would be valuable to a chapter.
If you or someone in your chapter would be interested in assisting in the development of the program, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, e-mail address, chapter number, number of members, and let us know if your chapter has an existing web site.
