Ensure Future Chapter Success With the Peter Burgher Chapter Challenge Fund
Included with your chapter’s renewal this year was a personally signed letter from EAA Founder Paul Poberezny. Paul’s letter explained the details of a newly established fund dedicated specifically for creating tools and programs to enhance the entire EAA chapter network.
The fund, named the Peter Burgher Chapter Challenge Fund, was established by longtime EAA and chapter member Peter Burgher. His vision is to create a way that all chapters can benefit from the development of new tools and resources that will make the business of being an EAA chapter easier.
To date, 117 chapters have already contributed a total of $11,600 – all which will be restricted to chapter use only. On top of that, Burgher has offered to match all contributions up to $100,000.
The first tangible benefit from the fund will be the free chapter website program, which will allow every chapter to have its own customizable website, hosted free of charge. Several other ideas are already under consideration, including tools to manage administrative duties such as accounting and rosters.
Contributions by both chapters and individuals are greatly appreciated. Support for this effort demonstrates a commitment on the part of chapters and members to invest in our network.
