Volunteering Opportunities Available at EAA’s Kermit Weeks Hangar

EAA’s Kermit Weeks Hangar recently welcomed two EAA chapters – Chapter 237 (Blaine, Minnesota) and Chapter 992 (Marshfield, Wisconsin) – that volunteered time to help out its aircraft maintenance staff.
These are great opportunities for our chapter members to drive or fly to Oshkosh and spend the weekend with our aircraft maintenance staff at the hangar, where they work, mingle, and share their common interests in aviation.
Kermit Weeks Hangar would love to have your chapter visit and help out. You will participate in the restoration and maintenance of a variety of aircraft in EAA’s collection.
Chapters typically arrive Friday evening, spend Saturday volunteering at the hangar, and visit the museum Sunday before heading back home. Spring is a great time to visit, so break out of the wintery weather and bring some chapter members to Oshkosh!
Contact John Hopkins, 920-426-4875, or Lisa Graham, 920-426-4843, at Kermit Weeks Hangar for accommodations and more information.
