Help EAA Win $25,000 Endowment: Vote Online Through October 25
October 18, 2011 – You can help EAA win up to a $25,000 endowment, with just a simple vote from your computer!
As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region is distributing endowments and grants to 25 area nonprofit organizations as part of its “25 for 25 Charity Challenge.”
The 25 Challenge winners will be determined based on the number of votes received during an online voting period, which opened Sunday, October 16, and runs through Tuesday, October 25.
To vote, visit the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region website and click on the “25 for 25 Charity Challenge” icon.
The top vote-getter in each of five categories will each receive a $25,000 endowment to be permanently invested within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, which will aid in sending area students to the EAA AirVenture Museum to enjoy a variety of special programs and activities, plus a $2,500 unrestricted grant to use immediately. The next four top vote-getters in each of five categories (20 organizations total) will each receive a $2,500 unrestricted grant to use immediately.
Winners will be announced on November 22.
The $187,500 is being provided by the Community Foundation and five funding partners: Robert and Patricia Endries Family Foundation, Mielke Family Foundation, Lyle and Victoria Reigel, Doug & Carla Salmon Foundation, and Mowry Smith Charitable Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
