Valuable Insight Shared During Chapter Leaders Academy
January 24, 2012 – Last weekend, we welcomed about two dozen EAA chapter leaders to the Aviation Center for the first Chapter Leadership Academy of 2012.
The activities began with a social time and dinner on Friday evening, where attendees enjoyed 1-1/2 days of discussions and workshops to exchange ideas and challenges for chapters. A number of EAA staff members offered expertise in particular areas that include membership growth, fundraising, and media relations.
In addition, these weekend gatherings are excellent forums for EAA staff to learn more about the needs of local chapters and build programs to assist them.
