Volunteering Opportunities Available at EAA's Kermit Weeks Hangar
February 21, 2012 - EAA's Kermit Weeks Hangar recently put out a warm welcome to members of EAA Chapter 145 (Grand Rapids, Michigan) who traveled to Oshkosh to volunteer and assist the aircraft maintenance crew on various projects.
These are great opportunities for your chapter members to drive or fly to Oshkosh and spend the weekend with our aircraft maintenance staff at the hangar, where they work, mingle, and share their common interests in aviation. Kermit Weeks Hangar would love to have your chapter visit and help out. You will participate in the restoration and maintenance of a variety of aircraft in EAA's collection.
Chapters typically arrive Friday evening, spend Saturday volunteering at the hangar, and visit the museum Sunday before heading back home. Winter and spring are great times to visit, so come out of this wintery weather and bring some chapter members to Oshkosh!
