Bipartisan Support: Senators Tell FAA 'Stop' on OSH ATC Fees
Calling the FAA's move "completely unacceptable," a bipartisan group of 28 U.S. senators today delivered
a letter to FAA Administrator Michael Huerta, strongly urging the agency to reconsider its unilateral decision to assess fees for air traffic and other services at general aviation events, including EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

Aeromart Aeromart Opens for Check-in, Business One Day Earlier
EAA's Aeromart at AirVenture will open a full day earlier than usual starting this year, as vendors can begin to check in their items at noon on Saturday, July 27. Aeromart will then be open for business on Monday opening day, July 29, through noon Saturday, August 3. Read more >>

AirVenture 2013 welcomes the addition of the Canadian Activities Area, adjacent to the International Visitors Tent, offering resources for those visitors traveling from Canada to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. International Young Eagles Day Share Your International Young Eagles Day Experiences!
This Saturday, June 8, is the 20th annual International Young Eagles Day, an event that provides thousands of young people ages 8-17 their first flights in general aviation aircraft. Dozens of EAA chapter rallies are scheduled throughout the country for the single most active day of the year for the Young Eagles program.

If your chapter is holding an event, we'd like to hear from you! Send pictures and reports of your event to the Young Eagles office in Oshkosh, or post information and pictures to the EAA Facebook page.

EAA Air Academy Openings for EAA Air Academy Advanced/SportAir Camp
Do you know a young person with a budding interest in homebuilding? Then EAA's Air Academy Advanced/SportAir Camp is for them! This all-new aviation camp, held August 12-18, is designed to interest and challenge youth ages 16-19. Campers will learn basic composite building and fabric covering techniques using hands-on applications in the workshop.
