B-17 ICAO SIC Type Rating - offered to qualified multi-engine rated tailwheel pilots

Two hours of dual instruction by EAA's CFII, MEI with B-17 type rating and eight hours of ground school instruction by the EAA's B-17 ground school instructor. A half hour for SIC type ride.

Pre-requisites: Applicant must be CURRENT as a multi-engine instrument rated pilot. He or she must possess a tailwheel endorsement. Recent large multi-engine tailwheel experience is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Applicant must also possess a valid third-class medical.

Note: Winning bidder will be responsible for coordinating package delivery. There is no guarantee, expressed or implied, with regard to successfully receiving the B-17 type rating in the allotted time. Before being recommended for the type rating, the applicant must demonstrate every required task to ATP practical test standards. Stage checks will be performed to ensure that the student is progressing at a pace consistent with a successful outcome. Additional instruction, if necessary, may be available at the rate of $4,500 per flight hour. This will be scheduled tentatively for August of 2015.

0820 18 April 1942 Limited Edition Autographed Color Lithograph

Shortly after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, Lt. Col. James Doolittle organized a bombing mission off the island of Honshu. Immortalized by artist Robert Moak, this print, number 1600 or 2000, measures 24.5" x 18.5" (sight) and features a B-25 Mitchell used during the raid accompanied by an aircraft carrier and battleship. Lockheed Martin F-22 model

The model is a masterfully crafted scale replica of a Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor which is being flown out of Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, by the 94th Fighter Squadron. The Raptor is a single seat, twin engine, super maneuverable fighter aircraft which uses stealth technology. On September 7, 1997 the Raptor made its maiden flight. The United States Air Force claims the F-22A Raptor cannot be matched by any other known or projected aircraft.
