No EAA chapter located near you? No problem. You can start your own EAA chapter, and it’s easier than you may think.
All you need to start is enthusiasm, an interest in aviation, and the desire to share this interest with other people in your community. Bring together 10 interested recreational aviation enthusiasts who are either current EAA members or ready to join EAA. For divisional chapters, you only need five members.
Next, inform the EAA Chapter Office of your interest in forming a new chapter by contacting 920-426-4876 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are forming an International Aerobatics Club, Vintage Aircraft Association, or Ultralight chapter or a Warbirds squadron, please be sure to mention this when you contact the Chapter Office.
EAA will then take a few minutes to learn more about your local aviation interests, discuss the formation process, and review the contents of the starter kit.
