LOBO Announces First Annual LOBO/Lancair Fly-In
The Lancair Owners and Builders Organization (LOBO) is very excited to announce it has joined forces with Lancair International Inc. to plan and organize the First Annual LOBO/Lancair Fly-In. Scheduled for October 7 to 9, 2011, at the Taney County Airport (KPLK) near Branson, Missouri, this premier event will unite Lancair owners, builders, and pilots with those who supply and support them.
“As part of its charter to foster and build relations with vendors and the general aviation community, LOBO couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Lancair International to aid us in providing our members a venue to network with suppliers, meet other Lancair owners, and learn more about their aircraft,” said LOBO Vice-President and Social Chairperson Claudette Colwell. “Anyone who has ever thought about owning a Lancair aircraft or considered supporting the Lancair community with products and services should not miss this chance to join us at Branson in October to celebrate personal aviation, Lancair style!”
Attendees can look forward to a fun, fly-in setting that affords an opportunity to learn more about building, flying, and maintaining Lancair aircraft. The two-day schedule includes fact-filled forums, hands-on demonstrations, challenging builder and pilot skill competitions, informative vendor displays, field trips for taking in the local highlights, delectable foods, and a chance for proud owners to show off their Lancair aircraft while enjoying the conversation and company of fellow builders and owners.
LOBO would like to acknowledge our sponsors for the First Annual LOBO/Lancair Fly-In including Lancair International Inc.; LOBO’s preferred insurance broker, NationAir Aviation Insurance; Pratt & Whitney; Lycoming Engines; Moritz Aerospace Inc.; Park Electrochemical Corporation; TruTrak Flight Systems Inc.; and Risse Racing.
LOBO promotes the safe use and enjoyment of Lancair aircraft through education, training, and fellowship. LOBO safeguards and furthers its members’ interests with regulatory agencies, the general aviation community, and the public at large. For more information, visit www.LancairOwners.com.
