InterPlane Assets for Sale

InterPlane Skyboy

InterPlane was formed in 1992 with the two-seat, Czech-built trainer known as the Skyboy as its first product. All assets including the rights for the Skyboy aircraft, drawings, calculations, tools, molds, and an inventory of spare parts for Skyboy (located in North Carolina) are to be sold. Interplane hasn’t produced aircraft since mid-2008. It’s estimated that there are 75 to 100 Skyboys flying throughout the world.

InterPlane aircraft ranks 11th in light-sport aircraft in the United States with 54 registered as of January 2010. The existing fleet will have a need for parts and product support. A brand-new ZJ Viera monowheel configured aircraft is also for sale. All assets, except for the spare parts in North Carolina, are located in Zbraslavice, Czech Republic. Assets include an uncollected receivable from InterPlane’s U.S. CEO. InterPlane is open for bids on all or part of the assets and asks for bids to be delivered to Ralph Mandarino at InterPlane@hotmail.com or call 313-882-1308 no later than April 30, 2010. For more information about the company, see www.InterplaneAircraft.com.
