Voices in Your Head Aviation Podcasts

Voices in your head

If you just can’t get enough airplane talk, there’s a new way to program voices in your head and fill some mindless drive time, commercial flight time, or any other time in your life. The Aviation Media Network provides a central directory of podcasts covering a wide range of subjects in aviation. You can listen directly online or download the podcasts to your computer or MP3 player.

The website TheVoicesInYourHead.com currently lists episodes from about 40 different aviation blogs or websites. Convenient links are provided to easily access the latest episode from each source, or you can go directly to the source and access all the archives. Some names will be familiar such as Powered Sport Flying Radio Show, AVweb, or Aero-News Network, but there are dozens of other smaller podcasters offering interesting talk on every aviation subject imaginable.

AirPigz is “hog wild about anything that flies,” CopterCast is for rotorcraft pilots, and In the Pattern Podcast is “four student pilots, a few touch-and-goes, and a whole lot of right rudder.” There are podcasts about sport aviation, training, commercial aviation, aerobatics, airliners, and funny stories from around the world from Betty, the airline flight attendant, in Betty in the Sky With a Suitcase. The Aviation Media Network welcomes suggestions for new podcasts to be added to their listing through a link on their website.
