Resources and Programs that Protect Your Right to Fly and Grow Aviation
EAA Government Relations' primary focus is on the development of laws, regulations and policies that affect recreational flying. By dealing with government as a partner who is committed to solutions instead of as adversaries, EAA has been tremendously successful through the years. Our Washington, DC Office works with more than a dozen federal agencies, including the FAA and TSA, to help shape future policies. EAA staff and volunteers also participate as members of the General Aviation Coalition and the Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee, and work in concert with many other aviation organizations. EAA Members are often asked to participate in making our collective voice heard to keep skies free and regulations from becoming burdensome or costly.
Perhaps the most satisfying way to share your passion for aviation with young people, and that's why more than 80,000 EAA Members have participated in EAA Young Eagles. EAA member pilots who donate their time to to the program are eligible for enhanced insurance coverage, fuel discounts, and a variety of recognition rewards.
