Arlington Fly-In Begins Today
July 5, 2006 — The Arlington EAA Fly-In, EAA'S largest regional fly-in event, gets under way today, July 5, and runs through Sunday, July 9, at Arlington Municipal Airport, Washington. EAAers in the Northwest can experience a full slate of forums and workshops, exhibits, and air shows. This year also includes EAA's Light-Sport Aircraft Mall showcase for new LSA-qualified aircraft; and a splash-in event sponsored by the Washington Seaplane Pilots Association at nearby Lake Goodwin.
Other returning attractions include Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection featuring rare World War I and II planes; the night air show with fireworks at dusk Friday; and Saturday's Hot Air Balloon Night Glow.
