Limited Openings In SportAir RV Assembly, E-LSA Repairman Classes

August 17, 2007 — If you're thinking about building a Van's RV aircraft, or would like to obtain a Repairman/Inspection certificate for your experimental light-sport aircraft (E-LSA), two fast-approaching EAA SportAir Workshops could help you achieve your goals. Limited space is available at the August 25-26 RV assembly workshop at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and there are also limited openings at the E-LSA repairman-airplane course slated for August 24-26 in Arlington, Washington.

For current and future RV builders, get hands-on practice in skills taught by expert instructors and gain the experience necessary to assemble your airplane. Other topics include tools needed, workshop requirements, engine and propeller selection, flight-testing, and more. Tuition is $319 for EAA members, $359 for non-members.

The 16-hour E-LSA repairman course for airplanes is designed to help owners of aircraft certificated in the E-LSA category earn their Repairman (LSA) Inspection-Airplane rating, thus allowing them to perform annual condition inspections on their aircraft. Cost is $299 for EAA members, $339 for non-members. To register for either course, visit EAA?s secure website, or call 800-967-5746.
