EAA Offers 16-Hour E-LSA Inspection Courses

January 17, 2008 — Flying season will be upon us before you know it, so if you're an experimental light-sport airplane owner you can use the down time and EAA SportAir Workshops to earn your E-LSA Repair/Inspection Certificate. By enrolling in one of the 16-hour courses offered, you'll be authorized to perform the annual condition inspection on your airplane.

EAA SportAir Workshops will offer several weekend E-LSA inspection courses in the coming months at several locations across the country:

  • Denver, Colorado, February 22-24 and April 25-27
  • Oshkosh, Wisconsin, March 7-9 and May 16-18
  • Lantana, Florida, March 14-16;
  • Riverside, California, March 28-30

Successful completion of the FAA-approved, comprehensive course earns you the Repairman/Inspection certificate for your own airplane certificated in the E-LSA category. Tuition for this two-and-a-half day course is specially priced at $299 for EAA members.

Class sizes are limited, so don't delay! If you'd like to register or need more information, call 800-967-5746, or visit us on the web at www.sportair.com.
