EAA Sportair Concludes Successful New Hampshire Workshop
October 9, 2008 — EAA SportAir Workshops graduated another class of eager homebuilt aircraft enthusiasts September 27-28 at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire. Weekend sessions drew more than 100 participants from the region, including three students who traveled from Reykjavik, Iceland. Classes offered included Sheet Metal assembly, Fabric Covering, Composite Construction, Electrical Systems, Test Flying and an evening course, What’s Involved in Kitbuilding.
“We’re delighted at the turnout at the event and deeply appreciate the hospitality and assistance from Daniel Webster College,” said Mark Forss, SportAir Workshops coordinator. “We have a large number of EAA members in the Northeast embarking on aircraft building and restoration projects and we’re very glad to be able to offer these programs in the area. The aviation facilities at Daniel Webster College are well suited for this and we look forward to another SportAir program with them in 2009.”
