Presidential Address to Joint Session of Congress Will Trigger Enhanced Flight Restrictions Next Week

September 4, 2009 —A TFR will be in effect during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress on the evening of September 9th, 2009. As a result of this event, enhanced airspace restrictions will be in effect within the Washington Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and Flight Restriction Zone (FRZ) during the event.
