SportAir Workshops Heads to the Northwest and Oshkosh

September 16, 2010 — After a successful Denver session, EAA SportAir Workshops is on the road to Prineville, Oregon, for a series of workshops October 9-10, hosted by EAA Chapter 617. “This will be the first time we’ve been to Oregon, and we’re looking forward to teaming with Chapter 617 to present our most popular workshops,” said Mark Forss program coordinator. Featured workshops include Fabric Covering, Composite Construction, Sheet Metal, and Electrical Systems.

The weekend of October 1-3, EAA’s FAA-approved E-LSA Inspection course will be presented at the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This 16-hour course qualifies the owners of airplanes certificated in the experimental light-sport aircraft (E-LSA) category to perform the annual inspection on their aircraft. A combination of lecture and hands-on inspection projects teaches the skills to successfully conduct your annual condition inspection. Class size is limited to 16 students.

For complete information on these sessions, click here. Call the SportAir hotline at 800-967-5746 to check availability and to enroll.

Aircraft Spruce and Specialty, SportAir’s primary sponsor, offers discounts on tools, materials, and supplies from their extensive catalog to workshops participants.
