Sport Aviation Wows National Award Judges

November 11, 2010 — More accolades have arrived for the new look of EAA Sport Aviation magazine, which launched in January. Our organization’s flagship publication was recognized by Media Industry News (min) with the Best Redesign Award at the 2010 Editorial & Design Awards held in New York City on Monday, November 8. Debbie Bates-Schrott, president of Bates Creative Group, which executed the redesign for EAA, accepted the award on behalf of EAA and her agency.
The min Awards highlight the best work in the publishing industry, with other awards going to popular consumer magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Harper’s Bazaar, Real Simple, and Computer World.
“We’re very proud of the new look and upgraded content of Sport Aviation, and EAA members have overwhelmingly supported the redesign as well,” EAA President/CEO Rod Hightower said. “Our members helped set the course for the magazine with their input and comments, and they can also be proud that it is now on style and production levels with the nation’s top consumer magazines. Congratulations to everyone involved.”
