With New Congress, GA Caucus Member Levels Return
April 8, 2011 — Following the November 2010 mid-term elections, turnover was expected in the Congressional GA caucuses. In the two months since the 112th Congress was sworn in, the ranks of the House GA Caucus has grown to more than 100 members, while the Senate GA Caucus is nearing 30 members. The caucuses were formed in each house of Congress to create provide momentum for legislative priorities that benefit GA.
The House GA Caucus is led by Reps. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) and John Barrow (D-Ga.); in the Senate, Senators Mark Begich (D-Alaska) and Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) are leading the effort. EAA encourages all members to contact their senators and representatives and encourage them to join the GA Caucus.
