Video: RAF Warbirds Past and Present Salute Royal Couple

April 29, 2011 —It was predicted that more than 2 billion people around the world would watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton Friday morning. The ceremony unfolded as expected with the proper amount of pomp and circumstance including a flyover, or as they say in Britain a “flypast,” of an Avro Lancaster Bomber flanked by a Hawker Hurricane and a Supermarine Spitfire. Seconds later they were followed by a quartet of jet fighters including two Panavia Tornados and two Eurofighter Typhoons.
