Hightower Joins GA Leaders at South Dakota GA Rally

August 30, 2011 – EAA President/CEO Rod Hightower will join leaders from GAMA, AOPA, and NBAA at Pierre Regional Airport (PIR) for the South Dakota General Aviation Rally Wednesday morning, August 31. Others include Pete Bunce of GAMA, Craig Fuller of AOPA, Dick Doubrava of NBAA, Jim Coyne of NATA, and John Cudahy of ICAS.  Also attending will be South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard and U.S. Senator John Thune.

The rally, held at the new Mustang Aviation (formally Capital City Air), will highlight the importance of GA to the state, whose rural-based economy relies on GA for economic sustainability more than many states.
