Google Maps Gives Satellite View of AirVenture 2011

October 5, 2011 – The “Twitterverse” this week alerted us that the Google Maps’ satellite view of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, was recently updated with an image taken on Monday afternoon, July 25, 2011 – which was opening day of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011. Click here to see the rows of parked airplanes from the North 40 to North Fond du Lac, a full parking lot, Camp Scholler, and more. You can even see workers setting up the stage area on ConocoPhillips Plaza for the REO Speedwagon concert. Zoom in for a closer look and you might be able to see your campsite or airplane.
