CAFE EAS VI Coming in April
January 26, 2012 - Practical knowledge for electric aircraft builders will be the focus on the CAFE Foundation's 6th Annual CAFE Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS VI) April 27-28 at the Flamingo Resort & Spa in Santa Rosa, California. Early confirmations include the winner of the NASA Green Flight Challenge, the debut of the first electric LSA, breakthroughs from leading battery makers, the world electric speed record, and the latest on prop and wheel motors, controllers, UAV flight, and ultra-quiet liftoff.
Cary Hayner will deliver a keynote address on his lab's new, fast-charge, graphene battery breakthrough. Aerovironment's Bill Parks will discuss the company's Global Observer and UAV technology, and LaunchPoint's Mike Ricci will show the latest in efficient wheel motors. CAFE will also host an Electric Aircraft Flight Demonstration at its new eFlight campus at Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport.
