Experimenter Re-Launched as Digital Magazine

 

September 6, 2012 - EAA published the first full digital edition of its popular Experimenter magazine Wednesday, providing content for members interested in learning about building and flying experimental aircraft, including ultralights and light-sport aircraft.

The Experimenter title first appeared on EAA's monthly newsletter in February 1953. The publication grew to a full-fledged magazine over the years and eventually became Sport Aviation magazine. In 2009, Experimenter reappeared as a monthly e-newsletter serving the homebuilt community.

It has now expanded to a digital magazine format with former longtime EAA editor Mary Jones and EAA Communities Manager Chad Jensen at the helm, giving the most authoritative amateur-built news and information in a format designed for today's readers.
