EAA Holiday Auction: Passing Along the Spirit of Aviation
Bid to win Breitling watch commemorating the Naval Aviation Centennial.
November 20, 2012 - Each year, EAA members and friends combine to share the spirit of giving through the EAA Spirit of the Holidays online auction. The opportunity to both "give" and "get" unique gifts that share a passion for flight has far-reaching benefits.
From the special person in our lives who opens a package containing a flight package during AirVenture to a young person who receives an Air Academy scholarship borne of the fundraising success of this auction, the spirit of aviation is passed on.
"We can't thank you enough for supporting this effort through the donation of a gift item or through your bidding!" said Elissa Lines, EAA vice president of donor and business relations. "Have fun! And may you and your family enjoy a happy, healthy holiday season and a New Year filled with peace."
This year's auction is well under way and runs through December 10. Check out our unique collection of aviation experiences and gifts for aviation enthusiasts, like a B-17 or Ford Tri-Motor type rating, week-long access to a golf cart for AirVenture 2013, a special once-in-a-lifetime AirVenture VIP package, a Dynon D1 Pocket Panel, and a 2012 naval centennial commemorative Breitling watch.
All this and much more are now available to the highest bidder. Auction proceeds directly support EAA programs that preserve our aviation heritage. Start bidding today!
