Very Limited Tickets Remain For Bob Hoover Tribute
January 30, 2014 - Only a very limited number of individual tickets remain for the February 21 Tribute to Bob Hoover to be held at Paramount Studios Theater in Hollywood, as aviation's top personalities gather to honor the man called by many as "The Pilot's Pilot" and one of the greatest aviators in history.
The once-in-a-lifetime gala, which will attract approximately 500 aviation luminaries, will also introduce the Bob Hoover Hall of Honor that will be housed at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition, a just-completed documentary about Hoover's life, narrated and introduced by Harrison Ford, will premiere at the event. Final proceeds of the gala will be used as part of a scholarship fund for deserving students who aim for Hoover's lifetime commitment to excellence.
Hoover has been an EAA member for 50 years and has regularly participated at EAA AirVenture over the past half-century as a legendary air show performer and aviation statesman. His unmatched aviation career also includes service as a combat pilot, test pilot, air racer, and much more.
The February 21 gala and surrounding events are designed to thank Hoover for a lifetime of aviation achievement and leadership to the aviation community. Complete information, including ticket availability and prices, is available at the Bob Hoover: Lifetime of Excellence website.
