Great Lakes Aviation Conference This Weekend
February 12, 2014 - A variety of keynote speakers and other educational opportunities for all levels of interest in aviation will be featured at the 14th annual Great Lakes Aviation Conference and Expo on February 14-15 at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing, Michigan.
The line-up of expert speakers and seminars will cover a wide range of topics and informational and instructional breakout sessions during these presentations will provide additional knowledge. The seminars are designed for pilots, maintenance professionals, sport pilots, instructors, and students and include everything from weather issues to flying destinations.
Special seminars coordinated by the FAA will also be available and include such topics as IA renewals and continuing education. Keynote speakers include Gen. John Borlin, ; Art Mortvedt, owner of the Polar Pumpkin; FAA Regional Administrator, Barry Cooper; and Mark Baker, AOPA president.
