AirVenture Transportation


There will not be many changes to routes this year for AirVenture. Weather plays a role in the completion of any new roadways on the site. When you arrive at AirVenture be sure to pick up a convention site map that will have all of the current information. Below is some information that you may find useful.

On-site Bus Routes

  • Museum Bus - between the Museum and the Bus Park on site
  • To/From the orange parking lot
  • Camp Scholler buses operate throughout the campground
  • North perimeter - this is the North 40 general aviation area
  • Airport Terminal Building - there is a tent located just behind the Fire Station in the North 40 - this is the bus pickup/drop-off location that will transport direct to the terminal building via city street
  • Volunteer Bus - operates from to/from an Oshkosh school
  • South 40 - operation for the southern end of the convention site
  • Seaplane Bus - operates from the Bus Park and the south end by ultralight area
  • Special assistance bus - operates throughout the grounds - check the convention site map for exact route

Tram Routes

  • Red - runs north and south between North 40 Registration building and Vintage
  • Blue - runs from Vintage to the south end of the field
  • Green - to/from Bus Park and Hangar Building A, Convention HQ

Taxis and Limos

  • Must have advance EAA approval to operate
  • Pickup/drop-off is at the Bus Park

Other City Transportation Buses

  • All operate to/from the Bus Park area
  • Appleton, Fond Du Lac, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Ripon
  • Oshkosh City Bus
  • To/From Target and Pick N Save stores
  • To/From the Outlet Mall
