See Full F-22 Demos, Heritage Flights
June 18, 2015 – If you ever wanted to see the flight capabilities of a frontline fighter aircraft, you’ll want to be in Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture 2015 as Air Combat Command (ACC) has approved the amazing United States Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter jet for an Oshkosh appearance.
Not only will the F-22 Raptor Demo Team be part of the daily U.S. Air Force Heritage Flights flown July 20-26, but attendees will get to see a full demonstration flight on Wednesday, July 22, Friday, July 24, Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26.
Heritage Flights match modern fighter aircraft with historic warbirds for air show demonstrations. These formations have created unforgettable moments in past AirVenture air shows.
For Maj. John Cummings, 2015 demo pilot for F-22 nationwide, it will be a special homecoming at Oshkosh this year, as he hails from nearby Appleton, Wisconsin.
