Eagles Over Oshkosh Set a New Wisconsin Sky-Dive Record

July 25, 2015The Eagles Over Oshkosh sky-diving team set a new Wisconsin state large formation sky-diving formation with 108 sky divers from 15 nations and 23 states represented.

This record formation was set on July 22 at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

Jim McCormick, the man who brought the team to Oshkosh, remarked, “This event of large-way sky diving has never been part of the EAA Oshkosh air show before, and the Eagles Over Oshkosh are very proud to have been able to showcase our sport for this special group of aviators and aviation enthusiasts in a safe and exciting manner. The Wisconsin state record was icing on the cake.”

The previous state record was a 30-way formation set in 2011.
