F-22 Raptor Demo Team Returning to AirVenture

March 26, 2020 - The U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team is returning to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2020, scheduled for July 20-26.

The Raptor Demo Team will perform demonstrations as part of the daily air shows during AirVenture, as well as participate in the Air Force Heritage Flight program. Maj. Joshua "Cabo" Gunderson is the Raptor Demo Team pilot for the 2020 season.

"Last summer the Raptor Demo Team put on a performance at AirVenture that will be remembered by attendees for many years," said Dennis Dunbar, director of AirVenture air show operations. "We can't wait to welcome the team back to Oshkosh as we continue to plan for a full AirVenture event in late July."

The Raptor Demo Team will demonstrate the capabilities of the stealthy Lockheed Martin F-22, which was introduced by the U.S. Air Force in 1997 and is one of the premier air superiority fighters in the world.
