April 15, 2021 – The EAA exhibit at this week’s SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, had a new look in 2021, thanks to the unique Flight Outfitters display that highlights the EAA/Flight Outfitters "Pilot Your Own Adventure" contest now open for entries.

The display represents the grand prize in the contest open through June 1, which invites all to submit their most memorable adventure in a non-commercial general aviation aircraft. The grand prize is a once-in-a-lifetime camping experience at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021, complete with the Flight Outfitters-branded camper and a multitude of Flight Outfitters gear.

EAA CEO/Chairman Jack Pelton and Mark Glassmeyer, Flight Outfitters president and EAA 1400673, opened the display on SUN 'n FUN's opening day, April 13. The exhibit drew immediate interest from EAA members and other Lakeland attendees.

"The EAA display is certainly an eye-catcher and is getting people even more excited for a return to Oshkosh this summer," Pelton said. "Aviation opens the door to so many adventures and memories, and describing those will give someone the opportunity to create another unforgettable memory during AirVenture 2021."

The display is part of EAA's exhibit at SUN 'n FUN through the fly-in's final day on Sunday. EAA staff and volunteers are also available to talk about AirVenture as well as EAA membership and programs.
