Member Center Serves as a Home Base, Information Hub for Visitors
July 23, 2017 - EAA always strives to ensure members feel at home whenever they visit, and the EAA AirVenture Member Center offers plenty of opportunities for members to talk to EAA staff in person, a rare opportunity for some members who live thousands of miles from Oshkosh. Any questions a member or prospective member might have can be answered by someone at the Member Center.
“If you’re looking to become a member, this is the best place to come, because you can figure out all the great aspects of being an EAA member,” said Tricia Rathermel, EAA Four Corners project manager. “It’s also a place where we want to add value to people’s memberships, so not only answering their questions but introducing them to other programs, giving the opportunity to find out what they don’t know about EAA, and what we can do for them, as well as the opportunity to talk to a staff member in person.”
Representatives from EAA membership benefits, lifetime membership, chapters, IMC/VMC Clubs, Young Eagles, Eagle Flights, and the government advocacy staff will be around to speak to members. Membership services experts who can help you renew a membership will also be around to help you explore programs and membership benefits, and introduce you to other like-minded members.
The EAA Member Center also features some member-exclusive attractions. This year the EAA Member Pro Line of apparel is available for purchase, which features the EAA member logo on gear and apparel designed with members in mind. The center also acts as a place for members to take a break during a long AirVenture day. There is seating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, computer access, and cold water for EAA members, and plenty of copies of the August issue of Sport Aviation magazine.
The Member Center can be found at EAA Four Corners on the intersection of Celebration Way and Knapp Street.
