EAA Library Hosts Annual Book Sale

Great Deals

July 24, 2016 - Fascinating and historic aviation books, curios and paraphernalia will be available for purchase at the EAA Library book sale during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016.

EAA has collected more than 1,000 aviation-related books for the annual sale, in addition to historical sectional charts, aviation magazines, aircraft manuals, and more, through the generous donations of members. Almost 400 of the titles on sale are priced at less than $4.

Highlights of the items for sale include youth pulp fiction books dating back to the early 1900s, books on World War II German aircraft, books written specifically for modelers, and government publications from the 1930s and 1940s.

Also included in the sale are collectible rare books that list for sale on the Internet for hundreds of dollars.

The book sale takes place in the EAA Library on the lower level of the museum and will be held July 25 – 31 during the museum’s hours of operation. Revenue from the sale supports EAA’s library and museum.
