2021 EAA WomenVenture T-Shirt Design Contest Winner
Congratulations to Lynn Thompson, a regular AirVenture attendee and self-proclaimed aviation nut, for creating the winning 2021 EAA WomenVenture T-shirt design! Lynn is currently working on getting her pilots license, which inspired her to enter the WomenVenture T-shirt Contest. Originally she envisioned a woman, like herself, flying among the clouds, but none of her designs were coming together. Then one night while looking through aviation magazines, she was struck by how beautiful the jet engine looked. She then thought it would be cool if it was paired with the radial engine — showing the evolution of aviation from beginning to present.
Thank you to all those who participated in the contest this year. Check back in the spring of 2021 to begin registering for the 2021 EAA WomenVenture Power Lunch, T-shirt, and social.
