EAA 70th Anniversary Commemorative Beer
EAA turned 70 this year! One of the many ways we’re celebrating is by introducing an official commemorative beer, brewed just for us by the historic Stone Arch Brewpub just up the road in Appleton, Wisconsin. The signature brew was chosen after multiple rounds of blind taste tests by EAA members and staff. The 7 can collection will be available at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 at Red One Market Central, Red One Market West and Red One Market North.
7 Collectible Cans
The beer will be available in seven different highly-collectible cans, each featuring a key piece of EAA and our 70-year history. We’ll unveil the unique and vibrant designs for each can individually, one each week between now and AirVenture.
Thank you for helping EAA celebrate 70 years of dreamers and doers!
In collaboration with Stone Arch Brewpub and with the votes cast by those who attended EAA’s inaugural Flight at the Museum fundraiser, the Kölsch has been selected as the beer celebrating 70 years of dreamers and doers in EAA’s 70th anniversary collection.
The best of both worlds, a hybrid between an ale and a lager, this classic beer style originated in Cologne, Germany. It is easy to drink, crisp, bready, and hop-forward from being finished with German Sterling hops. Balance is key, and this beer is perfectly balanced.

Homebuilts
Release Date: Wednesday, July 26, 2023
The freedom to build and fly your own airplane is baked into EAA’s DNA.
Back in 1955, when the organization was just two years old, founder Paul Poberezny wrote a series of articles for Mechanix Illustrated magazine that talked readers through building a simple single-seater called the Baby Ace.
This story showed the world that homebuilding wasn’t just fun and rewarding, it was affordable, too.
Ultralights
Release Date: Thursday, July 27, 2023
Flying an ultralight is about going nowhere but up, cruising low and slow over the countryside with the wind in your face and your cares and worries left somewhere behind and below.
From powered paragliders and parachutes to fixed wing, trikes, and gyroplanes, the world of ultralight flying is one of pure grassroots joy. No certificate, no medical certificate, just flying and fun.
