Webelos / Cub Scouts Aerospace Adventure

This program is full of fun things to help your Webelos or Cub Scouts experience aerospace. It includes a guided one-hour museum tour, time in the KidVenture Gallery, and the "Paper Pilots" program, which is an additional one-hour program that explores how an airplane can stay in the air.

Minimum/ Maximum Size: 10/35 scouts
If you do not meet the minimum count requirement, you will be charged for the minimum count of scouts; 1 chaperone required for every 8 children.

Amount of Time Required: 2½ hours

$10.00 per scout

Program Overview

Each program provides the following unique experiences:

  • Guided museum tour (1 hour)
  • "Paper Pilot" Program, a 1½-hour activity that includes activity-based explorations of the four forces of flight.

Optional Activity
Build and launch a compressed air rocket (additional fee of $5.00 per scout). Weather permitting, this activity is done during the months of April-May and August through October.

Extended Stay Options
Extended Stay Evening Activities include:

  • Flight Simulators
  • KidVenture
  • Helicopter Testing
  • Movie
  • Youth Overnight in Museum, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. (additional $35 per scout, $20 per chaperone) (program, dinner, breakfast, 1 night in Museum; participants must provide their own sleeping bags)
