FESTIVE HOLIDAY ATMOSPHERE AWAITS EVERYONE AT EAA’S CHRISTMAS IN THE AIR ON SATURDAY, DEC. 3

Free community event will feature musical performances, treats and visit from Santa

EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (November 14, 2016) — Get into the holiday spirit in an uplifting setting as EAA hosts its traditional “Christmas in the Air” open house 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh.

This free community event for all ages will feature performances by local musical, choral, and dance groups in a festive holiday atmosphere. Capping EAA’s special event will be the arrival of Santa Claus by helicopter (weather permitting) at noon, followed by his visit with children at the event. Children can also write letters to Santa that will be sent with him when he flies back to the North Pole.

New for 2016 is the addition of Breakfast With Santa. Attendees will enjoy an all-they-care-to-eat pancake breakfast before Christmas in the Air begins. The limited-size special event allows families an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa prior to his grand helicopter arrival at noon. Plus, all guests will receive a special gift. Cost is $10 for children and $15 for adults, with children under 4 are free. Advance tickets are required and available at www.eaa.org/ChristmasInTheAir.

Along with the holiday music and atmosphere at Christmas in the Air, attendees will enjoy the various historical and educational attractions that the EAA AirVenture Museum offers year-round. The EAA museum gift shop is also open the open house, which is the annual EAA thank you to the community for its support.

Everyone is also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry, which assists local families in the area.
