Register Now - Chapter Leadership Bootcamp in Independence Oregon October 15th

September 2016 - I am the president of EAA 292 in Independence, Oregon. My chapter is hosting an EAA Leadership Boot Camp on Saturday, October 15. Traditionally these leadership sessions have been hosted by EAA headquarters and held in Oshkosh, but more recently they have been offered at other locations to better reach chapters outside the Midwest.

• Tax exempt status
• Fundraising
• Media and public relations
• Young Eagles
• Insurance and risk management
• EAA chapter resources

I attended one some years ago and found the information very helpful and the exchange with other EAA chapter leaders very useful in keeping Chapter 292 vibrant, solvent, and successful.

EAA 292 is located near Salem Oregon at the Independence State Airport (7S5). There is an adjoining airpark. This allows us to offer you free housing for Friday and/or Saturday night in one of our homes. Your only expenses will be transportation getting here and food while you are here. We are arranging for inexpensive yet healthy fare for Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast and lunch.

I encourage you to attend this Boot Camp if you have not been to one before. It is a chance to meet other EAA leaders from the Northwest.

Please encourage your new, younger chapter leaders and volunteers to attend to get ideas from other chapters. I guarantee that it will be a positive experience.
