Chapter Young Eagles Credits

December 2016 - The Young Eagles credit program is a great way to continue to support a young person’s interest in aviation.

However, each year many credits go unused. Your chapter’s remaining credits may be used as a deposit to reserve a spot for a camper in 2017. (See the Air Academy reservation form.)

Keep in mind the Young Eagles credits expire on December 31.

Also, now is the time of year to help your pilots achieve the 10 for 2016 goal to earn credits for 2017. You may check the logbook online using the “search pilot by chapter” feature.

You can check on flights in the current year to see how many Young Eagles each pilot has flown. For more information on Young Eagles credits, click here.

EAA Air Academy Camps — 2017 Schedule and Cost

EAA Young Eagles Camp (for 12- and 13-year-olds): $870 ($200 deposit)

Session 1 ~ July 5-9, 2017

Session 2 ~ July 11-15, 2017

EAA Basic Air Academy (for 14- and 15-year-olds): $1,160 ($200 deposit)

Session 1 ~ June 19-24, 2017

Session 2 ~ June 26-July 1, 2017      

EAA Advanced Air Academy (for 16- to 18-year-olds): $1,455 ($200 deposit)

Session 1 ~ July 18-26, 2017*

Session 2 ~ July 28-August 5, 2017
